NBL CANADA PRE-DRAFT COMBINE AND DRAFT DETAILS
2013 NBL Canada Draft Pre-Draft Combine
The National Basketball League of Canada has partnered with the ACTS Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ontario to host the 2013 NBL Canada Pre-Draft Combine on August 17th and 18th. ACTS is also playing host to a Pre-Draft Training Program August 12th-16th. Saturday, August 17th will be for Canadian Players and Sunday, August 18th will be for Open/American Players. The 2013 NBL Canada Draft will be held Monday night, August 19th at a soon to be announced location nearby.

Upon arriving to the pre-draft combine, players must provide the following items to
NBL Canada personnel at the official registration table:
· Valid identification
· A biography and/or CV with an attached photograph
· Photographs must be recent and in
colour for photo
quality and identification purposes
· A highlight DVD or game tape. Please include any special
viewing instructions if necessary.
Please note that all items submitted to the league upon arrival may be kept on file for future reference and will not be returned.
Coaches and General Managers from all
NBL Canada teams will be attending the combine to scout talent in preparation for the draft. The combine events on August 17 and 18 will be open to the public.
All players are required to pre-register in order to participate. There will be no same day registration. Space is limited.
A player pool selected from the pre-draft combine will be invited to attend the
NBL Canada Draft 2013.
If submitted and paid prior to July 14th, 2013, the registration fee for
Canadian and Free Agent players attending the combine is $225.00 CAN. If submitted after July 14th, the registration fee for
Canadian and Free Agent players attending the combine will be $275.00 CAN.
Players will want to make sure their return flight is either booked for Tuesday, August 20th or changeable to Tuesday, August 20th should the player be selected to be eligible for the Draft. The NBLC will provide hotel accommodations on Monday night for players who are selected to attend the Draft Night. These accommodations will be two-players per room and thus friends and family will need to make their own reservations for Draft Night (Monday, August 19th). The location of the Draft will be announced on June 20th at a live press conference.
