Head Instructor: Tom Zajac:

dreams."
Tom's ultimate goal at his camps is to give each player the opportunity to
develop their skills, be able to compete to get to the next level and fulfil
their dreams.
Tom's passion for the game started at a young age playing for numerous minor
hockey teams in the North End of Winnipeg. From there, he earned himself a
4-year hockey scholarship to the University of Denver, where he went on
winning various awards.
Tom returned to Winnipeg to play with numerous Senior and Intermediate
hockey teams, representing Manitoba on various levels, winning the Canadian
Intermediate Hockey Championship.
That would lead Tom to start his coaching career. Tom has coached various
levels from tots to AA and AAA hockey, which has involved more than 25 years
of experience, as well as Founding the Zajac Hockey Development Camps.
His dedication and passion for the sport has helped countless players go on
to play Junior, University and Professional hockey, including Jonathon Toews
(Chicago Blackhawks), Nigel Dawes (KHL), Quinton Howden (Winnipeg Jets),
Travis Zajac (New Jersey Devils) and Darren Helm (Detroit Redwings) to name
a few, as well as helping each of his 4 sons earn NCAA Scholarships and play
various levels of professional hockey around the world.
Tom's philosophy and instruction is simple. "Help every player develop the
tools (skills) so they have a chance to succeed."
