2017 Season Refund Policy






.1 All players shall register at the appointed time and location and must be properly registered before participating in any OLMB activities. Any player failing to comply with this rule shall not be permitted to participate until the registration form has been recorded and approved by the Registrar. Team Coaches and Managers shall assume responsibility for the eligibility of their players. Directors of Rep. & House League will be ultimately responsible for eligibility of players.


.2 Registration fees and procedures shall be established each year by the OLMB Executive Committee.

.3 All fees must be paid in full by May 1st or arrangements made with the Finance Committee, before a player may participate in ANY OLMB activity. Players in breach of arrangements will be notified that participation privileges have been terminated.

.4 Regular registration will take place annually prior to March 31st.

.5 All players registering after March 31 may be subject to an additional late registration fee. All additional fees (i.e. non-resident fee, fundraising fee, etc.) would also apply. If spaces are not available in the particular age division then the player would be placed on a waiting list.

.6 Any player requesting sponsored registrations, that resides outside the City of Orillia, and does not pay taxes to the City of Orillia, MUST pay the appropriate non-resident fee.

.7 Sponsored players may not participant in the select or rep levels unless approved by the current executive.

.8 Families that have three or more players will be allowed a discount. They must pay for the two (higher amounts) and all others will be half price.

.9 $25.00 will be charged for any cheques returned “non-sufficient funds”.

.10 Under age T-Ball players MUST turn 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the current baseball season.

.11 Executive Members shall be entitled to one (1) basic registration at no charge, provided they commit to remain active on the Executive for the entire season.

.12 Late registration fee will be 25% of the basic registration fee.







.1 A request for a refund or credit will not be considered unless it has been submitted, in writing, to Orillia Legion Minor Baseball, to the attention of the Registrar.

.2 All requests for a refund or credit must include a thorough explanation of the reason(s) for the request, with sufficient detail and supporting evidence to allow for proper consideration (including medical evidence, as applicable), failing which the request may be denied or delayed until same has been provided.

.3 Applicants should allow approximately three weeks for processing from the time of submission of the request.

.4 If granted, the decision to provide a refund or apply a credit towards the cost of registration for the following season shall be made by the Finance Committee in its sole discretion.

.5 If the original payment to OLMB was made by cheque, and if it is determined that a refund is warranted, the refund will not be provided until the original payment has cleared the bank.

.7 Requests submitted in writing prior to May 1st shall be granted a full refund or credit minus $25.00 Administration fee.

.8 Requests submitted in writing after May 1st will only be granted at the sole discretion of the Finance Committee. If the Finance Committee chooses to grant a refund or credit, it shall be pro-rated minus the applicable Administration Fee, Uniform Fee, Volunteer Fee, or City of Orillia Surcharge Fees, which will not be refunded.

.9 Should it be necessary for OLMB to withdraw a team, for whatever reason, any player who has paid the registration fee, Administration Fee, Uniform Fee, Volunteer Fee, or City of Orillia Surcharge Fees, which may apply from time to time, will be reimbursed in full for monies paid.




.1 Rep/Select fees as determined by the Finance Committee, and Team Fees as determined by team officials, are non-refundable. For greater certainty, no refund or credit shall be provided if a player is unable to play part or all of the season for any reason (e.g. illness, injury, etc.).


Last year I included a line for people to pay their rep/select fees as well. I would like this deleted out please.

The First step of this Registration Process is to create an account with all your guardian information which you will use for all future registrations. The second step will be to add your child or children to your account. Once this is done you will proceed with this seasons individual registration.
